Pearl Interactive Network: From Subcontractor to Prime Contractor with $20M in contract value with the help of Blackfyre’s GSA Schedule Consulting

Pearl Interactive Network, Inc. is a HUBZone-certified, Woman-Owned Small Business (WBENC certified) specializing in multichannel contact center services and supportive care navigation for federal and state government clients. With 16 years of experience, Pearl is known for their consultative, compassionate, and often complex interactions supporting beneficiaries, employees, and citizens in healthcare and government services. The company can provide services from its facilities, on client sites, or through a secure virtual work-at-home network. Clients and partners recognize Pearl for consistently exceeding performance expectations while giving hiring preference to people with barriers to work. The company's vision and business practices reflect a commitment to giving back to the community by providing opportunities to a niche workforce while providing a way for its clients and partners to meet social and compliance goals.

In July 2020, Pearl hired Pedro Rubio to help them navigate federal procurement and obtain a GSA Schedule. With Pedro's expertise and guidance, Pearl was awarded a GSA Schedule in November 2020, with two SINs: Special Item Numbers (SIN) 54151S for Information Technology Professional Services and SIN 561422 for Automated Contact Center Solutions (ACCS).

With their new GSA Schedule status, Pearl was able to bid and win their first prime contract under the General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Special Item No. 561422 - Automated Contact Center Solutions (ACCS) in support of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Provider Support Service Center. The contract, valued at $17.7M, was awarded in March 2021, and Pearl was the only vendor to submit a quote for the RFQ.

Under this award, Pearl will provide multi-tiered call center customer and lifecycle management services supporting the Provider Relief Fund. These services support qualified healthcare providers in the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic, specifically for healthcare-related expenses or lost revenue due to COVID-19. This latest award adds to a very successful year for Pearl with several new federal and state government contact center engagements.

Pearl went on to win another contract under the GSA Schedule, a $3M award with HHS. The company's success in obtaining and utilizing its GSA Schedule through the expert guidance of Pedro Rubio has proven to be a valuable asset in winning government contracts. In addition, Pearl's commitment to providing opportunities to a niche workforce and its reputation for consistently exceeding performance expectations has led to multiple successful contract awards and revenue growth.
