Explore the revamped GSA Vendor Support Center website, designed to enhance the user experience with new features, improved navigation, and focused content.
The General Services Administration (GSA) is overhauling its Vendor Support Center
(VSC) website. By incorporating feedback from users, they aim to
create a more user-friendly and navigable resource for both potential
and existing GSA contractors. The upcoming redesign includes several
significant improvements and features:
This highly requested feature will be integrated into the new site. It aims to
allow users to easily find answers to their questions right from the home page.
The help desk will be readily available, located right on the front page for easier
access.
The website offers distinct pathways based on different user needs. These pathways
include processes for obtaining a contract, managing a GSA Contract and reporting
contract sales.
Contractors will find a new section on the homepage specifically designed to help
them find their relevant contacts. This includes the Procurement Contracting Officer
(PCO), Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO) and Industrial Operations
Analyst (IOA).
This feature will be grouped under the “Managing My GSA Contract” section. There,
contractors will find downloadable lists such as GSA Special Item Numbers (SINs),
Designated Country Codes, Prohibited Manufacturers and Authorized BPA Vendors.
The table further includes a reference chart for GSA Advantage uploads showcasing
the Maximum Order Level for each SIN and requirements for Universal Product Codes
and Photos.
The site's content has undergone extensive updates and simplifications. Outdated
and duplicate content has been removed for clarity. A fresh content management
system, named 'Drupal,' will allow for quick and easy updates.
The new VSC Design aims to align closely with other GSA websites such as GSA Advantage!
Enhancing familiarity and ease of navigation for users. The redesign forms a part
of the GSA's broader initiative to improve its online presence and services.
Plans have also been laid to redesign GSA's Interact website in phased manner
starting this fiscal year.
The upcoming overhaul of the GSA Vendor Support Center website represents a

changes promise more efficiency and user-friendliness in the process of obtaining
